Slowly Slowly tour regional areas of Australia August to October.
As they wrap up their national tour this weekend (with a final show in Adelaide), Melbourne rockers Slowly Slowly will maintain the momentum by embarking on a massive 17-date regional run commencing in August.
The band fronted by Ben Stewart will kick off on the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast the first weekend of August with visits to follow in Torquay, Frankston, Newcastle, Wollongong, Hobart, Darwin, Ballarat, Canberra, Cairns, Townsville and Mackay.
"This year we want to see some new parts of Australia and return to some of our favourite spots," Ben says.
"Some of our fondest memories are in these towns – it's time to replace them with new ones. It's been a while between drinks and we are stoked to be back on the road again."
There'll even be an under 18 show staged in Croydon (Melbourne) that holds special importance to Stewart.
"Croydon is where I grew up and we'll be playing at the venue where I played my first ever show at age 15. That was why we insisted it go on the tour!"
Slowly Slowly have had a busy 2022; they appeared at Full Tilt Festival (Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane), released the single 'Forget You' and teamed with singer-songwriter Shannen James for an acoustic rendition of 'Nothing On'.
