Scottish post-punk rockers Simple Minds have been forced to push back their 40 Years Of Hits tour of Australia – originally slated for Nov-Dec 2020 – to December 2021.
The rescheduling of the dates is due due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Federal and State Government directives."The frustration of seeing yet more live shows being rescheduled is huge," Simple Minds' Jim Kerr says.
"We are determined to make even more effort for our fans in Australia and New Zealand. In the meantime we ask all of you to keep your tickets – and keep the faith.
"We guarantee our live shows will be worth the extra wait. Thanks to all."
The run of live shows also includes A Day On The Green dates. Joining Simple Minds at all shows will be Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark.
Tickets already purchased will be valid for the corresponding rescheduled dates. Those seeking a refund can do so from the authorised point of purchase.
