Shinedown (top) and Bush

It's the co-headline tour both sets of fans never thought would happen, yet Australia will welcome both Shinedown and Bush on the same run of concerts in 2026.

Set to land in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth this September, it'll be Bush's first headline tour of Australia since 1996 (having last played here in 2022 as part of Under The Southern Stars, and Soundwave in 2017), while Shinedown return down under for the first time in 15 years.

Since forming in 2001 in Jacksonville, Florida, Shinedown has collected 24 #1 rock hits alongside 8.3 billion streams of their catalogue that include such rock anthems as 'Second Chance', 'Sound Of Madness', 'Cut The Cord' and '45'.

Shinedown's current line-up – original members Brent Smith (lead vocals) and Barry Kerch (drums) joined by Zach Myers (guitar, bass) and Eric bass (bass, guitar) – have been together since 2008 releasing five of the band's seven albums.

Shinedown will release their eighth studio album, 'EI8HT' on 29 May, the follow-up to 2022's 'Planet Zero' described by Smith as the group pushing themselves "like never before".

The group have already released a number of album singles: 'Three Six Five', 'Dance, Kid, Dance', 'Killing Fields' and 'Searchlight', which all dropped in 2025.

Last month, the band released new track 'Safe And Sound'. "This album is over a year in the making. Without question, as a band we pushed ourselves like never before. Especially when it comes to Eric," Smith says.

"Myself, Zach, and Barry are so honoured to create, and work with such an extraordinary producer, engineer, mixer, songwriter, musician, performer, and band mate."

No less revered are British hard rock alternative legends Bush, who arrived on the scene in the 1990s, their 1994 debut album 'Sixteen Stone' (which landed at #5 on the Australian album charts) featuring three iconic hits of '90s rock: 'Glycerine', 'Machinehead' and 'Comedown'.

Led by frontman-guitarist and sole remaining original member Gavin Rossdale, Bush have released ten studio albums, their most recent being 2025's 'I Beat Loneliness' which they toured relentlessly including dates in Europe, UK, South America and North America.

Bush have already confirmed US festival 2026 dates at Stagecoach, Bottleneck and Sonic Temple as well as another North American tour in April-May with Mammoth and James And The Cold Gun. Read our 2022 interview with Rossdale.

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 13 March.
