ARIA Award-winning band Sheppard have been added to the 2018 Adelaide 500 post-race entertainment at the 20th anniversary event.
The Brisbane group, who are currently riding high in the charts with their latest hit ‘Coming Home’, will rev up the Sunday night after-race concert crowd before international superstar Robbie Williams hits the stage to close out the 2018 event.
In 2017 Sheppard toured with Justin Bieber and Little Mix as well as played in front of 80,000 fans at the Corona Capital Festival alongside the Foo Fighters and Green Day.
Lead vocalist George Sheppard says the band can’t wait to get the crowd going. "We are really looking forward to being a part of the Adelaide 500 concert line-up.
"It will be a huge show for us hitting the stage before Robbie Williams, but we can’t wait to light up the stage for fans celebrating 20 years of the event."
Sheppard join legendary rockers Cold Chisel, who headline Friday night’s 'Made in SA' concert and hand-picked an all-South Australian line-up inviting Kasey Chambers and rock outfit Bad//Dreems to join them.
The Saturday concert will feature American rock band +LIVE+ plus one of Australia’s most popular bands Birds Of Tokyo performing special one-off shows in Adelaide as part of the 20-year celebrations of the event.
