Australia's favourite farmer-turned-muso, Shannon Noll will embark on his first national tour in over a decade in 2024.
Set to release a 20th anniversary edition of his debut album (5 April), 'That's What I'm Talking About' (which debuted at #1 on the ARIA album chart), Nollsie will headline gigs throughout April-May in Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Geelong, Ballarat, Canberra, Wollongong, Melbourne, Gippsland, Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Margaret River and Toowoomba. After introducing himself to the nation with his amazing run in the original season of 'Australian Idol' – a journey that captivated millions as he went head-to-head with eventual winner Guy Sebastian – 'That's What I'm Talking About' propelled Noll into the mainstream limelight.
The album featured his mega hits 'What About Me' and 'Drive', and remained in the Top 10 album chart for 13 weeks. The re-issue will feature all original 12 songs plus 2 new tracks – a collaboration with 'What About Me' songwriter Gary Frost plus an anthemic duet with fellow Australian Idol finalist, Cosima De Vito. 'That's What I'm Talking About' will also be made available on vinyl for the very first time.
Nollsie's newest album was 2021's 'Raw' (which peaked at #3 on ARIA's album charts), while he's recently played Deni Ute Muster, Savannah In The Round and Summernats. He's also garnered a new fan base with his podcast Idol Talking With Nollsie.
Tickets on sale from 12pm EDT on 6 February.
