Secondhand Serenade

For the first time in 16 years, Secondhand Serenade returns to Australia late 2025.

A collection of soul-baring anthems, Secondhand Serenade will be joined by a backing orchestral string section for shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this December.

The emo-pop solo project of American musician John Vesely, the former #1 MySpace artist was a musician ahead of his time releasing music recorded in his bedroom well before social media exploded.

His debut album, 'Awake' (originally released independently in 2005 and promoted via his MySpace page) was picked up by Glassnote Records (home to Mumford & Sons, The Teskey Brothers and The Temper Trap) in 2007 featuring 'Your Call', 'Vulnerable' and the title track.

Secondhand Serenade's biggest hit 'Fall For You' (which charted in Australia) was the lead single of his sophomore album, 'A Twist In My Story' – the record was mostly produced by Danny Lohner (formerly of Nine Inch Nails and A Perfect Circle').

Although relatively quiet the last decade releasing new music since his 2014 record 'Undefeated', Secondhand Serenade's catalogue is the ultimate playlist for the heartbroken, weaving tales of love, loss and redemption.

Tickets on sale from 9am (local time time) on 29 August.
