New Zealand blues, garage rock trio, Sea Mouse will tour Australia for the very first time next month.
With a sound that fits somewhere between Wolfmother, The Datsuns and Jet, Sea Mouse's brand of bluesy rock & roll will appeal to both your grandfather and older brother alike.Comprised of Seamus Johnson (guitar, vocals), Scott Maynard (bass), and Thomas Friggens (drums), Sea Mouse have been active since 2017 releasing two albums: their self-titled debut in 2017 and 2020's Tropical Fish'.
So far in 2023, as they build towards the release of their third studio LP, Sea Mouse have dropped two singles: 'Gearbox' and 'Weed Whacker' – scenestr premiered the music video for 'Gearbox'.
Sea Mouse's career highlights include being the recipient of the NZ On Air funding, performing with NZ legendary supergroup Fly My Pretties and playing the TUKI Festival.
