Situated in the beating heart of Australia, alongside the incredible Tjoritja/ MacDonnell Ranges just a scenic one-hour drive from Mpwartne/ Alice Springs, Wide Open Space Festival returns in 2023 for its 12th instalment.
A three-day extravaganza incorporating cutting edge electronic sounds, banging live hip hop, deep acoustic meditations and innovative music, Wide Open Space Festival also offers burlesque, cabaret, spoken word, panel discussions, a dedicated kids space, workshops, projections, exhibitions, interactive installations and roving performances."We are honoured to present Wide Open Space in our twelfth iteration, after a year's hiatus," Directors Jimmy Cocking and Rodney Angelo says.
"This year we are coming back bigger and better, so expect a few changes and surprises that will streamline the event and make 2023 the best WOS we have ever had.
"It's been tough for festivals and music events across Australia recently, but we are gearing up to have a whole lot of reasons for people to make the journey to the spiritual heart of Australia, for a stomping good time.
"We are proud to be supported by the NT Government, enabling us the opportunity to provide a world-class event in the unique landscape that is Central Australia."
