The Australian Independent Record Labels Association's (AIR) annual conference events returns to Adelaide in 2025.
Indie-Con Australia Conference and A2IM Indie Week Australian edition will take place at Adelaide's Mercury Cinema from 30 July to 1 August."Our 2025 Indie-Con Australia Conference will be held from 31st July to 1st August and bring together industry and speakers from around the globe to discuss challenges and opportunities for the sector.
"Each year, the intimate nature of Indie-Con offers valuable connections and transformative exchanges, alongside networking, keynotes, panels, workshops, and Indie Label Spotlights.
"For the first time, the 2024 conference featured a music industry debate, and expertise and access to international panelists and delegates including Dona Inthaxoum (Head of International Music Label Partnerships at Meta), Ellie Rumbold (Partisan Records), Emmy Feldman (Head of US A&R at OTM), Marcus Rowland (Outdustry China), UK booking agent Stuart Kennedy (ATC Live), Jim Romeo (Ground Control Touring), plus local artists PNAU, Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy, producer) and more.
"Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) brings its flagship conference beyond the US for the first time with A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition on Wednesday 30th July.
"As a champion of advocacy, education, community, and commerce for its 600 member record label and the independent music industry, A2IM is excited to partner with the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) to launch this historic event."
Taking place alongside Indie-Con Australia, and supported by the South Australian Government, Indie Week Australia will unite global independent music leaders to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and shape the industry's future.
