Hunter Valley music festival, Dashville Skyline will return in 2021 to deliver another healthy serving of folk, alt country, Americana flavours.
Set for the NSW October long weekend (1-3 October), when the self-labelled Cosmic Country Weekender was last staged in 2019 Archie Roach headlined and the festival had never been stronger.2020 was set to be even bigger for the music, camping and culture festival with a number of international artists scheduled to perform before the pandemic shifted everyone's attention.
With event organisers looking to programme around 40 live acts across 2 stages, the 2021 staging of Dashville Skyline will also harness Federal grant opportunities to drive the music industry aspect of the festival with songwriter-musician workshops, music industry networking and discussion panels.
The other usual Dashville Skyline trappings of chilled camping vibes, American-inspired food to make your belly swell, boutique market stalls, and an antique car and bike display will all return in 2021.
The festival is also accepting performer applications for the 2021 event. Submission deadline is 1 June.
Stay tuned for artist line-up news in the coming months. 2021 tickets are now available.
