It's been a two-year 'minute', but Australian music festival staple Groovin The Moo (GTM) will once again return to the live music calendar in 2022.
Set to take place at three of the six regional centres GTM have put down roots since their very first event in Maitland in 2005, next autumn Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo will host fresh instalments of GTM.While the makeup of each event will look a little different to past incarnations of GTM given the ongoing international travel restrictions, the extra time in-between events has allowed festival organisers to look back at their archives for 2022 inspo.
"It's been a long time between Moos," promoter Steve Halpin of Cattleyard says, "and we are so genuinely happy to be back on the road to some of our local regions to reconnect with artists, community, suppliers, team and most importantly, with each other.
"We have missed you all terribly and thank you for your patience."
Tickets purchased (and kept) to the cancelled 2020 events will remain valid for the 2022 dates, with the complete GTM tour itinerary set to return when the Festival can 'confidently deliver our full quality show'.
Expect the first artist line-up announcement to land in January. Stay tuned.
