British R&B-pop singer-songwriter, Sam Tompkins will make his Australian live debut this summer.
An artist who has featured on MEDUZA's 'Phone' and JNR CHOI's 'To The Moon', and released his debut album 'Hi, My Name Is Insecure' earlier this year (featuring 'Lose It All', 'Die For Someone' and 'Time Will Fly'), Tompkins will headline concerts in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney next February-March.In 2023, his career soared with sold-out tours selling out the legendary Hammersmith Apollo (UK) and The Troubador (US), his EP 'Who Do You Pray To?' secured a top 10 spot on the official UK charts, and he received a nomination for Rolling Stone UK's Rising Star Award.
"AUSTRALIA, I'M COMING!!! 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺 I remember back in 2018, I got a message from someone who followed me saying something along the lines of 'Australia is waiting for you' and for some reason it really made me emotional.
"People on the other side of the world care about ME? It blew my mind and still does now tbh. Ever since that moment, one of my biggest dreams has been to play a tour over there and I am super proud to say that six years later, it's finally happening.
"It'll be my first ever time in Aus and the furthest I've ever been from home by a long way, so I'm slightly nervous, but it's all part of this wonderful journey you guys have put me on. Thank you all so so much; can't wait to see you over there."
