After headlining an exclusive one-off concert at d'Arenberg Cube in McLaren Vale last night, pop-R&B global superstar Sam Smith will return to Australia later this year for their first tour down under since 2018.
The 'I'm Not The Only One' and 'Stay With Me' hitmaker will headline concerts in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane in late spring."I'm so excited to be launching Gloria the tour Australia and New Zealand dates for October and November 2023 from Adelaide, South Australia today," shares the English singer-songwriter.
"Both countries hold such a special place in my heart and we're working hard on delivering an incredible show for you all.
"I can't wait for you to see it and be with you all again soon xx."
With the current ARIA #1 smash 'Unholy' (36 million streams in Australia), Smith's 'Gloria' album drops 27 January.
"It feels like emotional, sexual and spiritual liberation," declares Smith. "It feels like I've got my faith back, in my job. So it was beautiful, with this album, to sing freely again, for me. It feels like a coming of age."
Where 'Gloria' is a pop album of sorts, it's also progressive pop-art. "There is craftsmanship in what I do, and truth and real expression," Sam says. "My diva album? I think so! I've finally let my Gloria out."
Tickets on sale on 18 January (at staggered times).
