Emerging American country singer-songwriter, Sam Barber returns to Australia in 2025.
After making her live debut down under late 2023 with festival appearances at Harvest Rock and Ridin' Hearts Festival, the 'Straight And Narrow' hitmaker will headline concerts in Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane next April."AUSTRALIA! See you next April! 🇦🇺 So excited to get back and play a bunch of new music off the album. Also. . . Cameron Whitcomb is coming to open up the shows 👊."
With a raw, authentic sound of starkly soulful alt. country, last month Barber (a 21 year old from southeast Missouri) released his debut album 'Restless Mind', a monster record with 28 songs including 'Better Year', which was recently featured in the new season of 'Yellowstone'.
Barber was thrust into the spotlight in 2022 when his original song 'Straight And Narrow', a bedroom recording of a song he'd written when he was just 16, went viral.
What followed was a whirlwind journey of showcasing his talent to the world. Making his live debut in June 2023 at The Basement in Nashville which proved a sell-out, three months later he took the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage. In between, he played at Bruce Springsteen's BST Hyde Park series as well as performances at Stagecoach, Lollapallooza and Australia's own Ridin' Hearts Festival.
Cameron Whitcomb is another fast-rising county star, the 21-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter achieving viral fame with such tracks as 'Quitter', 'Shoot Me Dead' and 'Medusa'.
Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 13 December.
