Globally acclaimed, water-soaked phenomenon S2O Songkran Music Festival is hitting Australian shores for the first time ever.
S20, known for mixing EDM, explosive visuals, and massive splash-movements, will hit Brisbane in February 2026, bringing with it music, water, pyro and immersive production. . . To festival site The Royal Queensland Golf Club, just outside Fortitude Valley.
The event is set to debut with an electrifying line-up, headlined by UK house sensation James Hype (the man behind global smash ‘Ferrari’), who will bring his high-octane, mash-up-driven set to our shores. Then there’s Alok, ranked among the world’s top DJs, who will bring his signature Brazilian bass and crossover anthems (like ‘Hear Me Now’).
Next up is Becky Hill, bringing her powerhouse vocals and pop-electronic anthems to S2O Australia. She’s got chart-topping hits and is known as one of the UK’s most dynamic live performers.
Will Sparks will represent Australia with his trademark Melbourne Bounce chaos. He doesn’t just play festivals – he detonates them. . . It’s set to be wet AND wild.
There’ll be a stack of heavy-hitters backing these guys up, like dark techno queen Marie Vaunt, NZ DJ Lance Savali, and UK powerhouse Tita Lau.
Since its debut in Bangkok in 2015, S2O has become a global phenomenon, celebrating the Thai tradition of Songkran by mixing water-splashing with music and performance. It has since expanded to events in Asia, North America, and around the world.
The Australian iteration will of course feature explosive water-cannon moments, splash zones, and a wet and wild party atmosphere.
“Australia has been waiting for something bold, fresh, and truly world-class. With S2O, we’re not just staging a festival — we’re setting a new benchmark for live experiences in this country,” S2O Australia partner Kenneth Ngov says.
“We wanted to bring to Australia something that’s more than just another festival – it’s an experience. It’s water, music, community, energy and production all wrapped into one,” S2O Australia partner Simon Coyle says. “Brisbane is the perfect backdrop for what we have in store – expect the wettest, wildest party you’ve seen.”
Tickets on sale 9 October.
S2O Songkran takes place at Royal Queensland Golf Club 28 February, 2026.
