It's been more than a decade, but American indie rock, alt. country singer-songwriter Ryan Adams returns to Australia in solo mode in 2024.
Six years since he last performed on Australia soil with a band as part of the Prisoner world tour, this time Adams will be armed with just a guitar, a piano and a catalogue of songs spanning his 22 albums.Fans can expect to hear a mix of the hits and rarities plus a stack of material from the four studio albums he released in 2022. Each concert features a different set list, with a performance of 30-plus songs not unusual.
The seven-time Grammy Award nominee will headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne January 2024.
Adams has also released three covers albums in the last two years: Bruce Springsteen's 'Nebraska', Bob Dylan's 'Blood On The Tracks' and Oasis''Morning Glory'.
Ryan has written and released two books, produced records for esteemed musicians including Willie Nelson, Jesse Malin, and Jenny Lewis, and has collaborated with some of music's most influential artists such as Weezer, Fall Out Boy, America and many more.
