Run The Jewels Release Their New Album 'RTJ4' Early

Run The Jewels have dropped their fourth album, 'RTJ4', early.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Two days ahead of its scheduled release, US hip hop group Run The Jewels have dropped 'RTJ4' across all digital platforms as well as a free download.

The duo of Killer Mike and El-P have collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Zack de la Rocha, Mavis Staples, 2 Chainz, Josh Homme, DJ Premier, and more on the 11-track album – their first record since 2016.

"F.. it, why wait?" the duo says. "The world is infested with bullsh.t so here's something raw to listen to while you deal with it all.

"We hope it brings you some joy. Stay safe and hopeful out there and thank you for giving two friends the chance to be heard and do what they love.

"With sincere love and gratitude, Jaime and Mike."

Killer Mike has also been active with the current US protests in relation to the George Floyd murder, his speech during the Atlanta Mayor's press conference last week going viral.

For fans looking to do some good through donation, Run The Jewels have provided a list of organisations on their website that are fighting for justice, change, and equity in America, including their long-time allies the National Lawyers Guild.
