A line-up of fine Australian artists will sing the Beatles' Rubber Soul and Revolver albums back-to-back in Australia in August.
Rubber Soul and Revolver are The Beatles' sixth and seventh albums. Relased in 1965 and '66, they feature 'Drive My Car', 'Nowhere Man', 'Norwegian Wood', 'Yellow Submarine' and 'Tomorrow Never Knows'. The albums were rated by Rolling Stone Magazine as #5 and #3 respectively in the Rolling Stone Top 500 Albums Of All Time.
The twenty-eight songs of Rubber Soul and Revolver will be performed back-to-back, in track order, starting with 'Drive My Car' and closing with 'Tomorrow Never Knows' by four of Australia’s rapidly ascending musical talents: Marlon Williams, Husky Gawenda of Husky, Jordie Lane, and Fergus Linacre of Kingswood.
If the concept sounds familiar, it might be because the producers also brought the critically-acclaimed 'The White Album Concert' and 'Let It Be' tours to Australia.
