Some five years since they last visited Australia, Royal Blood return to our shores for a national tour this summer.
Already revealed on the Let The Good Times Roll (Central Coast) and Changing Tides Festival (Illawarra) bills, the duo of Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher will headline concerts in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in December."We're incredibly excited to be announcing these shows in Australia in December this year," shares Royal Blood.
"We haven't toured over there since 2018 so we can't wait to get back out there. It's been far too long."
The tour news arrives only days after Royal Blood released their new studio album. With three UK #1 records already on their resume, 'Back To The Water Below' is their latest studio long player featuring the singles 'Mountains At Midnight', 'Pull Me Through' and 'Shiner In The Dark'.
"We're both very proud to say our fourth album 'Back To The Water Below' is now all yours. We never imagined we'd make it this far," the band posted to their socials.
"We'd like to make a point of saying thank you to all our wonderful fans. You're the fuel to this rocket of ours, thank you for keeping us in orbit for so many years.
"We'd also like to thank our secret weapon, Pete Hutchings. Thank you for engineering this album so masterfully. Your dedication and attention to detail was relentless and you were a constant inspiration. Genuinely could not have made an album like this without you.
"We can't wait to play these songs live for you and hope to see you out there very soon. Until then, turn it up. Nothing but love. Mike and Ben x."
Joining the British lads for all Aussie dates will be Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and The Buoys.
Tickets on sale from 3pm (local time) on 11 September.
