One of Australia's most enduring and beloved trivia shows, RocKwiz returns with the whole gang to present a brand-new show across the country late 2025.
Still going strong after 20 years, the hugely popular RocKwiz is back with fresh questions, an array of surprise special guests and their signature spark that has made the trivia show an enduring Aussie cult classic.Longtime fans as well as newcomers to the show – hosted by Julia Zemiro and Brian Nankervis, plus everyone's favourite roadie-turned-human-scoreboard, Dugald McAndrew, and the RocKwiz OrKestra who supply the secret sauce – will be able to experience and revel in all the chaos and kwizzery of RocKwiz for an uproarious night of entertainment.
After revealing their Live At The Gardens event at the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne last month, this new batch of shows will traverse across the continent beginning in Frankston before travelling to Geelong, Ballarat, Greater Melbourne, Bendigo, Canberra, South Coast, Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Barossa Valley and Adelaide throughout November and early December.
"It's extremely humbling that we are touring again in 2025 due to popular demand," Julia says. "The RocKwiz family adores performing live all over the country and we can't wait to see you all again."
Fans can expect big names alongside tomorrow's stars, riotous sing-alongs, audience members sharing the stage, general mayhem and madness, and that unmistakable buzz when live music, spontaneous comedy and pure love for music collide.
"If you want to be uplifted," adds Julia, "if you want to be moved by incredible musicians at the top of their game, and also laugh till you cry, this is the show for you. See you very soon."
Brian adds: "Would we like to head back to theatres and concert halls. . . with some great artists, new segments, new questions. . . play loud music and invite audience members to be part of the show? Whattayareckon? Absolutely!
"It's a thrill to tour with a changing cast of household names and up and coming stars, but sometimes it's the contestants from the audience who shine brightly.
"Last year we met Andrew whose wife was a back-up singer for Rod Stewart and once went out with a member of Mott The Hoople! Julia invited her to sing with our band on All The Young Dudes.
"In Dubbo, contestant Julie sang 'High Voltage' to win her way to the show. She told us her late husband Larry, 'loved RocKwiz so much. . . I wanted to honour him.' This is a crazy world, but spreading some musical joy and connecting with our audience is a powerful tonic. See you in the foyer."
Tickets on sale from 10am AEST on 18 July, except Sydney which will be available from 1 August.
