Two of the biggest names in American rock, +LIVE+ and Incubus have joined forces to co-headline a new one-day outdoor event, Lookout Festival.
Both bands will be joined by Birds Of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe and The Superjesus at the four Lookout dates: Brisbane, Gold Coast, Mornington and Perth next April.+LIVE+ and Incubus will also perform together at standalone concerts in Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
2024 will mark the 30th anniversary of +LIVE+'s seminal album 'Throwing Copper', which produced the hits 'Lightning Crashes', 'I Alone', 'All Over You' and 'Selling The Drama'. Fans can also expect to hear such classics as 'The Dolphin's Cry', 'Lakini's Juice' and 'Overcome'.
"It has been way too long, and I couldn't be happier that +LIVE+ is finally returning to Australia for the first time in five years," shares Ed Kowalczyk.
"The band and the show is so good and so strong and the fans who have seen it so far have been extremely happy! So, it was most definitely time to come and share it with our mates down under.
"And the icing on the cake is going to be sharing the stage with Incubus for the first time. I have always been a fan of their deep vibes, intellectual lyrics, and ground-breaking musical style.
"I think the pairing of our two bands is perfect in so many ways and I'm sure it will be a night to remember for all of the fans. See ya soon."
A band who celebrated their 30th anniversary in 2021, Incubus remain one of the most consistent rock bands of their generation with five consecutive Top 5 album debuts in the US; their most recent LP being 2017's '8'.
Incubus have also forged a significant online presence accurring 4.1 million monthly Spotify listeners and clocking over one billion-plus streams across all platforms with such classics as 'Drive', 'Wish You Were Here', 'Pardon Me', 'Dig', 'Anna Molly', 'Are You In?' and 'Stellar'.
"We're excited to come back to Australia and see everyone," shares Incubus' lead vocalist Brandon Boyd.
"It's been way too long so we're looking forward to seeing old friends and making new friends in cities we've never played before.
