Ridin' Hearts Festival 2024 Line-up

L-R top to bottom: MacKenzie Porter, Riley Green, Josh Ross, Cooper Alan
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

After serving up the country goodness of US wunderkind Bailey Zimmerman for its inaugural event last year, Ridin' Hearts Festival is saddling up again in 2024 returning to Sydney and Melbourne this spring.

From the same team behind CMC Rocks QLD, in 2024 Ridin' Hearts Festival will deliver the southern charm thanks to headliner Riley Green, the Alabama native bringing his trad-country, bluegrass and southern gospel music to Australia for the very first time.

The 'I Wish Grandpas Never Died' and 'There Was This Girl' hitmaker, who the Academy of Country Music named their 2019 New Male Artist Of The Year, will be joined by American rising talent and social media star Cooper Alan, who owned the crowd at CMC Rocks earlier this year.

Cooper, who has released a stack of singles the last five years finding traction with such hits as 'Colt 45', 'New Normal', 'Tough Ones' and 'First Rodeo', recently released his new EP, 'Feel Like Hell Today'.

Riley Green and Cooper Alan will be joined by Canadian country singer-songwriter Josh Ross (the Breakthrough Artist at 2023 Canadian Country Music Awards) who recently released his debut EP 'Complicated' featuring his 2023 single 'Trouble', and Canadian country-pop artist MacKenzie Porter ('Pickup' and 'These Days') who featured on Dustin Lynch's song 'Thinking 'Bout You'.

Americans Tanner Adell (who featured on Beyonce's recent Beatles cover 'Blackbiird') and Austin Snell ('Pray All The Way Home', 'Excuse The Mess' and 'Wasting All These Tears') round out the international arrivals.

On the Aussie front, 'God Took His Time On You' and 'Come Turn Me On' hitmaker Casey Barnes will be joined by country-pop singer-songwriter Bella Mackenzie ('Cowboy') and DJ Konsky.

A festival experience any cowboy-cowgirl would make tracks to the big smoke to attend alongside their city-slicker cousins, Ridin' Hearts add a raging silent disco, giant cornhole game and Brixton hat branding station for that unique edge amplified by the spirit of country music.

"As country music continues to be the genre everyone's talking about, we're very excited to announce the return of Ridin' Hearts, a one-day festival that's bringing country music to the city," Frontier Touring's Chief Operating Officer, Susan Heymann says.

"The response to our debut last year was incredible and we can't wait to come back to Sydney and Melbourne with a line-up curated for the country enthusiasts, the country curious and anyone just looking to have a great day out."

Tickets on sale from 11am (local time) on 18 June.
