ARIA Hall Of Fame inductee, Richard Clapton will venture around the country on a six-date tour next month.
Last month, Clapton (known to his mates as Ralph) released his 16th album 'Music Is Love (1966-1970)', his very first covers record highlighting his love for artists such as Bob Dylan, The Byrds, David Crosby, Neil Young and Buffalo Springfield.This tour will feature two sets from 'Ralph'; the first half will showcase material from 'Music Is Love (1966-1970)' before a second set featuring Clapton's most legendary hits.
"I am so looking forward to this tour," Richard says. "This is a very rare event so come on down and hear some of the world's greatest songs played by a great band.
"And yeah – I will be playing a lot of my old songs as well, so all in all it's gonna be a lot of fun. This is gonna be a real trip!"
The acclaimed songwriter behind 'Girls On The Avenue' will perform headline dates in Melbourne, Brisbane, Wollongong, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth.
