When walking into Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Saturday night, it was a bittersweet celebration of a decade-long journey with Holy Holy.
There was a weird mix of excitement and something a little heavier – like everyone knew we were seeing the end of something special.Holy Holy's final Sydney show (24 May) before their hiatus wasn't just a gig. It was a goodbye and a thank you all rolled into one. The night began with 'Elevator' setting the tone. The crowd was immediately engaged, singing along to the familiar lyrics.

They played so many tracks that mean a lot to long-time fans: 'Sentimental And Monday', 'Faces', 'If I Were You', 'That Message', 'History'. Every song felt bigger in that room, like they were giving each one a proper send-off.
The debut Sydney performance of 'Love You Still', the lead single from their double EP 'Sweet Bitter Sweet', resonated deeply with the crowd with a feeling like Tim and Oscar were leaving a little love note to their supportive fans.

The set also included collabs with favourites CLEWS and Kwame with the performance of 'The Aftergone' (CLEWS) and 'Messed Up' (Kwame) adding a special touch to the set list.
They closed with 'True Lovers', the entire crowd singing it, no one really wanting it to end; and as the final notes rang out it was clear Holy Holy have left such a mark on their fans.
Leaving the Enmore I felt sad, but also really thankful. Holy Holy have been a constant soundtrack of my recent life. I've seen and photographed them endless times over the last ten years, and if this was the last time seeing them live, I'm glad it was this show.
