Holly Humberstone has returned to Australia for a second time, and from the moment she stepped onstage, it was clear how much she adores Melbourne.

She smiled and danced through every song, chatting between various songs and even hinting she'll be back very soon.

The show took place at smaller venue, Max Watts (13 November), but the size only added to the intimacy of the night. With a fan base as devoted as Humberstone's, it felt like the perfect setting.

The disco ball hanging from the ceiling created the a dreamy atmosphere throughout the room, and giving some life to the all-ages crowd on the second floor.

The night opened with Holly Hebe, a local singer-songwriter from Melbourne. She immediately formed a connection with those in the crowd that came early to support her. She was interactive, charming and well loved.

Many fans already knew who she was and sang along to her songs proudly. Wearing a flowy blue dress with a small flower attached to it, she brought a bright energy that set the tone for the night.

As anticipation built, the closeness of the venue made Humberstone's entrance feel almost personal. She walked out wearing a blue-corset-style top with fluffy white sleeves and a matching skirt and little red flats, an outfit that perfectly reflected the softness and honestly of her sound.

Her voice was soft and sweet, carrying a gentle warmth that felt incredibly genuine. Every note sounded honest and real, like she was singing directly to every person in the room.

Fans cheered as she performed their favourite songs like 'Falling Asleep At The Wheel', which is also a favourite of mine and was incredible to hear live; it was one of the highlights of the night where the whole room seemed to sway away together.

Her newer track 'Die Happy' (only released last week) had the crowd buzzing with excitement. Throughout the show, fans handed her gifts and brought handmade written signs that she read with an honest gratitude.

One of the special moments was when she came out and sang an unreleased song. The crowd fell silent listening and hanging onto every word.

Humberstone's show was heartfelt, raw and beautifully genuine, a perfect reminder of why Melbourne loves her so much.
