Hayley is a multimedia creative, with a passion for storytelling. She loves capturing the raw energy and emotion of live music that resonates with audiences.

Gracie Abrams, one of the fastest growing stars in pop music right now, returned for her second tour of Australia as part of her The Secret Of Us world tour.

Gracie's fanbase is unique in that they're committed to dressing in ways that fit her personality and sense of style, particularly long skirts, ribbon, and hair bows. Many fans refer to it as 'girlhood'.

Support act, American singer-songwriter Ashe opened the evening (9 May) at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena with a bang, warming up the audience and, as she stated, making them fall in love with her.

Ashe is a fantastic performer who captivated the audience with her presence, especially with her single 'Moral Of The Story', her most well-known work. It was a highly creative and entertaining way to start the show.

Gracie gave the audience a taste of what was to come for the next hour and built up the anticipation by having her opening song, 'Felt Good About You', begin behind the projection screen with only her silhouette visible to the crowd. It was a moment that gave me goosebumps for sure!

She finally came out in a stunning long, navy blue dress for the second song, 'Risk'. The first single of 'The Secret Of Us' album, it was unbelievable that I was able to see 'Risk' performed live. Her ability to play the guitar on stage in addition to singing was demonstrated perfectly during this performance.

One of the surprise songs from the evening, 'Right Now', is one of my personal favourites; it has a very special place in my heart. I could hear how vulnerable she must feel while performing this song from the way she sang it, and the words are truly composed well.

The fact the surprise songs were performed on a little platform, across from the main stage, complete with a bed that replicated her own bed, where she writes the majority of her songs, was another highlight, and an original way of creating a connection between her and the audience.

Gracie's vocals were beautifully sang during the night with wonderful belts through many songs. Her voice is truly pure perfection and angelic.

For three consecutive nights, even though Rod Laver Arena was completely packed out each time, it felt like we were all in an enormous bedroom with Gracie, just like in the early days of her career when she would perform intimate Zoom shows.

As a fan who has watched her develop over the years, this concert felt absolutely incredible. The extent to which she has developed as an artist in the brief years of her career is remarkable.
