US mega star Billie Eilish has made her way down under for the biggest tour of her career, the Hit Me Hard And Soft tour.

It's safe to say this tour was one that fans had been eagerly anticipating! I had never experienced or witnessed such an overwhelming amount of joy and excitement from a crowd!

As a fan of Billie's work, who had never experienced any of her concerts, I was filled with as much anticipation as the rest of the crowd. I had high expectations for the show, knowing the popularity of her success, and I can confidently say the concert exceeded every, single one of them.

Walking into Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena (4 March), I was in disbelief that I was about to experience one of the most-talked about concerts of the year.

The stage setup was incredible. Positioned at the heart of the mosh pit, it had two open areas on either side for band members and backup singers (who may I add, were a great addition to this tour), as well as catwalks leading around the arena.

The visual design was nothing but mesmerising. The colour scheme, a blend of blues, reds and greens, perfectly complementing the theme of the 'Hit Me Hard And Soft' album. At a certain point there were hints of gold lighting giving the entire venue an ethereal feeling, creating a sense of safety and happiness among the crowd.

Fan favourites such as 'Lunch', 'Bad Guy' and 'What Was I Made For?' were of course, performed. The band as well as the overall stage production were phenomenal to have witnessed, the scale continued to escalate as the show went on. From lasers beaming through the crowd to bright flashes that synced perfectly with the music.

I was absolutely captivated by Billie's beautiful live vocals. She truly sounded angelic, effortlessly hitting those high notes is something you rarely get to witness from artists today. She is truly one of a kind and a remarkably gifted musician!

One particular moment that stood out to me, was when Billie harmonised with her own vocals; I had taken in every moment. As I mentioned earlier, her vocals are something that defines Billie's talent as well as her beautiful songwriting. The arena fell completely silent in that moment, creating an unforgettable atmosphere, as the audience hung on every note.

I could clearly see the love Billie has for her fans, thanking everybody for supporting her and being by her side through every journey of her career, as well as the fans in the crowd giving back that love by singing every word of every song and giving it their all like it was the last thing they'd do.

Incredible is an understatement to describe this concert. Reflecting on this concert, I can confidently say it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Billie Eilish has truly defined what it means to connect with an audience. Her performance was a powerful reminder of both her talents and the deep connection she has with her fans.
