I'm Keali and I live in Brisbane. I love anything cats, country or metal, and I love a good moshpit. When I'm not behind the camera or writing, I am probably at band practice or reading with my cat and a cup of tea.

It's that time of year again when a meticulously curated group of artists converges in Fortitude Valley as part of BIGSOUND, to deliver a live music showcase brimming with true talent.

This annual event, renowned for its ability to spotlight emerging and established artists alike, has previously featured remarkable names such as Spacey Jane, G Flip, Rufus, Courtney Barnett, Cub Sport, and Tones And I.

Each year, BIGSOUND becomes a vibrant platform where the future of Australian music is both celebrated and discovered. With such a rich history of groundbreaking performances, it's clear that BIGSOUND remains at the forefront of musical innovation, providing an unparalleled glimpse into the next wave of musical brilliance.

Starting off at the JBL stage on Brunswick Street was Will Hearn, a folk artist with a long-held dream of playing BIGSOUND. Ditching his solo act at the last minute, he quickly assembled a band, transforming his performance into a dynamic group showcase.

As the first act of night one, Will and his newly formed band delivered an electrifying set that set a high bar for the evening. Their passionate energy and tight-knit sound captured the audience's attention, marking a memorable start to the festival and showcasing Will's ability to adapt and deliver under pressure.
