If you thought Sirromet Wines was just for swirling and sipping, think again!Last Sunday (8 October), the vineyard we know and love was transformed into a musical wonderland, thanks to the Grapevine Gathering. This wasn't just your regular Sunday – it was a day filled with awesome music, infectious energy, and plenty of festival fun.
Kicking things off, Bella Amor reminded us of that upbeat, pre-coffee energy we crave on a Monday morning. Vibrant and catchy, she got the crowd grooving from the get-go.
Teenage Joans and The Rions then burst onto the scene like fireworks, bringing with them a surge of youth and exuberance that could rival the zing of a sparkling rosé.
A wave of electric euphoria swept over the crowd when pop-sensation Vanessa Amorosi blessed the stage. Oh boy, did she deliver! Her dynamic set was a reminder to 'Just Let It Go' and lose ourselves in the music we know and love.
King Stingray took us on a roller coaster of rhythms, with twists and turns that felt like dancing in a moonlit vineyard.

The Wombats? Pure nostalgia! Every song was a trip down memory lane, all set against the stunning canvas of Sirromet Wines.
Spacey Jane, with their dreamy tunes, seemed to paint the skies a deeper hue as the sun dipped. There was even a full-festival "happy birthday” sing-along for Peppa Jane!
And then, under a canopy of stars, Hayden James served the ultimate dance party. His beats weren't just heard; they were felt – from the tips of our dancing shoes to the fizz of our bubbling drinks.
It's clear that while wine might be the usual star at Sirromet, on this particular day, music took the crown (or should we say cork?).
Grapevine Gathering was less of a 'sip and sway' and more of a 'chug your wine and dance it out' kind of day. Cheers to groovy beats, hearty laughs, and perhaps a few goofy dance moves. Until next time, keep those dancing shoes handy and wine glasses fuller!
