What are you working on that moment?Currently I am working on my second EP, as well as a few remixes.
Who was the first person you told when you got signed to Sony?
I’m pretty sure I told my Mum haha. Followed by my Dad and then my close mates.
Where’s your favourite place to go for a good feed in Brisbane?
I think my favourite place at the moment is Greaser Bar. Unreal burgers and such a cool vibe.
If you could play at any major venue or festival in the world, where would it be?
I really want to play Holy Ship; looks like so much fun!
How do you start a track?
I start a track different every time. Sometimes with a melody or chords, sometimes with the bassline. Just whatever feels right and I can get a groove too.

Would you ever sing on your own track?I have before, but I had to manipulate it to make it sound nothing like me. I wish I was a good/ confident singer; would make the process so much easier.
What are you listening too at the moment?
I’ve been vibing on Tyler, the Creator's new album a fair bit. Also been pumping out the Dune Rats album.
If you could collaborate with either Dusky or Doorly, who would you pick and why?
I would definitely love to work with both of them somewhere along the line. Although everything Dusky puts out is amazing.
How do you describe your music to people?
Vibey, house music with a bit of a twist. I want to get people's emotions flowing with my music.
How does it feel being 21 and signed to a major label like Sony?
Surreal. Super stoked to be among such talented names like Peking Duk, Rufus and Carmarda.

What was it like working together with Noy on your EP?It was awesome. I feel like our styles work really well together and I got to learn a lot from him too.
How long have you guys been playing together for?
We have really only DJd together a handful of times, but we are definitely planning on getting behind the decks together more often.
If you could pick one artist to collaborate with, who would it be and why?
Would have to say Flume. His work inspires the hell out of me and I’d love to learn a few tricks from him.
What are you listening to at the moment?
I’m still listening to Odesza's latest album, 'In Return'. It’s been out for a few months now, but I just can’t get enough of it. It’s a ten.

How do you choose what to play at a gig?It all depends on the venue and timeslot I’m put in. Once I know that then it makes my song selection a lot easier.
What do you think about this year's Splendour in the Grass line-up? Are you keen to go?
Splendour just never disappoints. This year’s lineup is massive! So much variety. I actually haven’t been to a Splendour In The Grass yet. Might be time to change that this year.
If you could collaborate with either Diplo or Djemba Djemba, who would you pick and why?
I’m a huge fan of Djemba Djemba. He can literally make whatever he wants. He has this formula down pat. Would love to work with him.
When you’re not DJing, what are you doing?
Sitting on my laptop working on music. I’m always doing something relating to music.
What’s your favourite song to play from our EP?
'Chido' for sure. The crowd respond to it really well and it's just a fun track to get down to.

Would you ever sing on your own track?I can’t really sing, but I definitely do use small vocals of myself in my tracks. I usually play around with them a lot though so you can’t tell it’s me, haha.
Is your family musical?
I don’t think so, they have good taste in music but that’s about it haha. Although, my older brother and I were in the school band and learnt to play piano from our early, primary-school years.
Are you still playing bass guitar?
Not really, I was playing it a lot in high school when I would muck around with mates and our bands, but that never really picked up.
If you could collaborate with either RL Grime or What So Not, who would you pick and why?
I would probably go with What So Not because I am a massive fan of them since the beginning, and have known Chris before he was part of What So Not when he would play as Elmo Is Dead at the Monastery.
What was it like working with Jordan James on your debut EP?
AMAZING. This dude is straight fiyah [sic]; he is killing it lately and his production is next level. He is really good to work with because he’s really chill and takes all ideas into account plus he’s sometimes funny, haha.

Are you excited for the Revelry Agency showcase?I sure am! I can’t wait for everyone to know what has been going on with us three boys on the Agency. There is so much happening and so much more to come!
What are you listening to at the moment?
Jordan Burn’s latest EP. I don’t usually listen to house that much, but this has awesome vibes, I’m excited for his release on Sony Music. Apart from that I’m just listening to lots of trap!
If you could collaborate with either Mr Carmack or Lunice who would you pick and why?
Ooooh, that’s a hard. Maybe we could do a three-way track? Haha, I would want to choose Mr Carmack, but I’ve been listening to Lunice for so long I would go with him, I love his hip hop / rap vibes, he is one of my biggest inspirations in many ways.
What are you doing this weekend?
This weekend, I’m only playing once for a change, so I’m probably just going to chill and work on some new music, print some new clothes for my clothing label [Another Autumn] and catch-up with friends.
What are your pre-performance rituals?
To arrive early and feel the vibe of the club/ event. Also I like to just hang out before hand with all my friends and have a few drinks; just keep it chill you know.
