It's been 28 dog years (or, you know, six human years) since Resin Dogs released a studio album, but these local legends haven't just been sitting around on their paws.
Snce releasing the More LP in 2007, they've put out a remix album, More Or Less, produced and recorded local and international acts at their custom built studio in Byron Bay, toured the globe, and opened for the likes of Wolfmother, Mihirangi and Bankrupt Billionaires — hell, they even played for Neil Young.
The group has had only small pockets of time to work on their own material between these other happenings, but they've made that time count. The Beats From DownUnder EP is set to drop on October 8; the first single is 'Still The Beats', featuring the incredible Dialectrix on vocal duties.
Powered by live horns and the group's classic hip hop funk sound, the Dogs are back in full swing with this huge party tune.
'Still The Beats' is out now through Hydrofunk Records/MGM.
