Annual travelling music festival Red Hot Summer Tour is dishing up a dead-set legend, Jimmy Barnes, alongside a quartet of Aussie icons.
One of the country's premiere festival destination events, Red Hot Summer Tour is back in 2024 with multiple events planned in Western Australia (late 2023), New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.Joining Barnesy will be everyone's favourite punk rockabilly trio The Living End, two-time ARIA winners alt-rock champs Birds Of Tokyo, rock-folk singer-songwriter Pete Murray and Australia's queen of country, Kasey Chambers.
"Geez I love my job!!! VERY excited about this one. Bring on summer," beams Kasey Chambers.
Rounding out the bill will be the blues-soul of Mahalia Barnes + The Soulmates. "I'm very happy to be hitting the road with the Red Hot Summer Tour," Jimmy says.
"After my surgery, I am happy to announce that not only am I back on my feet, I'm fitter and stronger than I've been in years. So, let's get ready to rock!
"We're being joined on these shows by The Living End, Birds Of Tokyo, Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers and my fabulous daughter Mahalia Barnes and her band the Soulmates. It's a great line-up and it will be a killer tour. I look forward to seeing you all there."

This run of Red Hot Summer Tour events will visit Swan Valley, Illawarra, Mornington, Mannum, Batemans Bay, Hunter Valley, Bendigo and Launceston.
