Raves In Waves

Raves In Waves is bringing a new, bass-heavy, Las Vegas-inspired rave (by the water) to Adelaide Fringe this year.

Thumping bass, custom-designed, illuminating speakers, games, canapés and a fully-themed pool area – it's the perfect way to say goodbye to summer for another year as part of the 2026 Adelaide Fringe. . . Bringing rave culture back and turning an unexpected space into an unforgettable party destination.

It's your chance to enjoy a sun-soaked, unapologetically fun experience designed for long, warm Fringe Festival nights.

Without further ado, presenter DJ Mel-C (Melissa Clements) lists five reasons to get along to Raves In Waves this year. She's been involved in the music industry as an open format DJ for the last two-and-a-half years, with a strong desire to host unique events in unconventional venues.

One

The VIP Flamingo Lounge. Dive into luxury with exclusive lounge access. Every booking includes $30 in drink credits to keep the vibes flowing.

Two

Play All Day. We’ve levelled up the fun with mini-golf, card decks, and tabletop pong scattered, hoops, blow-up log fighting sticks from the poolside to the bar.

Three

Immersive Audio. Feel the bass through our custom-built, light-up mega speakers – designed for a visual and auditory feast.

Four

Vegas Vibes. Channel the strip with 30 minutes of roving canapés served by our waitstaff during every session.

Five

The Line-Up. Two high-octane sessions featuring drum & bass and hard dance, separated by a 30-minute chill-out intermission.

Raves In Waves is on at Hotel Alba (Adelaide Fringe) on 28 February.
