The Rainbow Serpent team has announced their final line-up, including international and domestic acts, for the 17th edition of their four-day festival held annually over Australia Day weekend.
The latest additions include Americans Janover, reSunator, Dov, bioLuMigen, Atmaspheric and Yoga of Bass. German Producer, Galaxy, and Japanese DJ Fumi will also play alongside 35 other international acts over five stages at the event.
Festival director Tim Harvey says Rainbow Serpent is the largest multicultural music festival of its type in Australia. “We are showcasing 40 musicians representing 17 different countries, cultures, creative influences and genres. “Our team do a fantastic job every year scouring the world for fresh talent and we’re proud to consistently present crisp, funky beats for the first time to Australian audiences.”
Local musicians weren’t forgotten with dance floor favourites Opiou, Spoonbill, Mr Bill, OKA, Ganga Giri, Staunch and many more to appear amidst an art-scape constructed by renowned visual artists from around the globe.
The festival sold out for the first time in 2014 and organisers advise loyal fans to purchase tickets soon and avoid later disappointment as tickets for the 2015 event sell fast.
