Back for its 22nd instalment in 2019, Rainbow Serpent Festival (25-28 January) has unveiled a monster line-up with 26 international acts headlined by psy-trance beast 3 Of Life (with GMS and Pixel each with their own performance as well).
GMS's set will celebrate their 25th anniversary as a touring act. Also appearing at the 2019 event will be Altruism, Atacama, BEC, BLANCah and the renowned US downbeat artist, Bluetech alongside his countryman Christopher Lawrence.
With more acts still to be announced plus an acoustic music line-up to be unveiled later in the year, Rainbow Serpent have offered a diverse range of acts for their 2019 event.
"Sometimes electronic music is perceived by wider society as all the same noise, but there is such a wide variety of nuanced genres and sounds it is always challenging to produce a music programme that caters to the majority of patrons," Rainbow Serpent organiser Tim Harvey says.
"In the case of our 2019 gathering, I think our programming team has outdone themselves."
Other highlights include Way Out West, Marvel Years, The Funk Hunters, Perfect Stranger and Kalya Scintilla.
The line-up, so far, brings acts from ten countries to Australian shores, some for the first time, while German techno heavyweights Oliver Koletzki and Super Flu will return to Rainbow as crowd favourites.
Aside from the music, Rainbow Serpent will also showcase a number of international and local visual artists with outdoor galleries, large-scale installations and multimedia shows.
Rainbow Serpent Festival takes place at Lexton (Victoria) 25-28 January, 2019. Tickets are on sale now. Click here for more information.
