Rainbow Serpent has announced 20 international electronic artists for 2018.
Hot on the heels of their largely unheralded but spectacular, early sellout in 201, RSF is gearing up for its 21st celebration with a closely-curated first-round announcement of mostly European acts including three female artists.
The twenty include psy-trancers X-Dream who are back to Rainbow for the first time since their 1999 appearance, Spanish electronic duo G.M.S. (Growling Mad Scientists) who have sold in excess of 300,000 cds, and Vitalic, the French creator of club classics 'Money', 'La Rock 01', 'My Friend Dario' and 'You Prefer Cocaine' to blur the boundaries between techno, disco, rock and pop.
To conicide with the announcement organisers have (again) released a beautiful 20-minute retrospective video providing a rare and extended insight into the hearts and minds of the festival's directors, producers and wider collaborators. With many take-home messages of love and freedom, the overwhelming theme is of one of diversity and acceptance.
