For the last two decades, Rainbow Serpent Festival has taken over the fields of Lexton, Victoria for its annual weekend of electronic-dance music and human connection.
Australia Day long weekend in 2016 will see a massive line-up for the festival with over 200 Australian and international musicians performing on five stages. The diverse range of acts appearing at the event so far include (formerly) DJ Magazine's #1 DJ in the world John Digweed (UK), Hernan Cattaneo (Argentina), Dickster and JFB (UK), Oliver Schories, Monkey Safari and Pachanga Boys (all German) along with Swedish artists Logic Bomb, Critical Choice and others.
Festival Director, Tim Harvey, is also excited about hosting a special 20th anniversay show for Iboga Records. "Rainbow is known for spectacular light and laser shows and we are taking it up another notch this year to have holographic projections during the Iboga celebration," Tim says. "As far as we know, that's a first for any Australian music festival."

Ace Ventura, MVMP, Emok, Atmos and Ticon are among the Iboga artists appearing at the festival which is also renowned for elaborate sculptures and art displays.
With reduced tickets on sale for the VIP mailing list peeps, the festival was selling fast BEFORE the line-up dropped. "We expect to sell out again this year so wanted to give our regulars the chance to purchase on faith before announcing acts and opening sales to the general public," Tim says.
More than just a music festival, Rainbow Serpent also produces five workshop spaces with talks and lectures, a healing space and three days of children's activities alongside outdoor galleries and cinemas.
