From its unassuming beginnings in the friendship between US actor Josh Radnor and Australian musician Ben Lee, folk-pop duo Radnor & Lee has graduated from fledgling project to a musical movement in the making.
And now the pair - friends for over a decade - are headed down under, with shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne planned next month with a 'larger' toured in the works later in 2018.
"I feel like our songwriting is changing in really interesting ways, but what initially sparked this collaboration is still there," Josh admitted in a recent interview with scenestr.
Radnor & Lee, the "weird, little experiment" formed by the 'How I Met Your Mother' star and ARIA Award-winning Sydney singer-songwriter, are excited to bring the project to Australia. "My audience in Australia has been the most loyal audience," Ben told scenestr recently.
"There are people who come to my shows that have been coming for 20 years and just to bring this new project – I feel so positive about it."
In what will be a welcome return home for Ben, this tour will be Josh's debut visit to Australia. "I can't imagine a better introduction to Australia than going with Ben, and Radnor & Lee," Josh says.
Ben and Josh will be hosting a Facebook live stream this Friday especially for Australian fans where they will answer questions and play some tunes. Tune in from 2pm AEST this Friday 6 April to take part.
