Jangly, guitar-driven indie pop that sounds like it was lifted direct from the '80s-'90s yet sounds ultra modern, Quivers are the Melbourne-based quartet of Sam, Bella, Michael and Holly.
They've just delivered their sophomore album, the delightful 'Golden Doubt' that's brimming with shimmering guitars and harmonising vocals. With production handled by Matthew Redlich (Holy Holy, Husky, Ainslie Wills), the lyrical direction of the album examines the emotions one feels once grief is overcome and steps are taken to fall in love again.
"The album tries to bottle the rush of feelings and fears when you give in to falling for someone," Sam says.
"It's also an album in love with other albums, and the other bands around us."
After their 21-date 2020 US tour was cancelled for obvious reasons, the band will return to the road with a 10-date tour of east-coast Australia (with added stop in Adelaide).
