Heritage event 'Opera At Jimbour' will return to its home at Western Downs (Queensland) for a weekend of intimate opera, chamber music, food, and wine to kick off Queensland Music Trails.
Set among the grounds of Jimbour House, the event will come to life with an array of performances from a selection of sought after Queensland performers.
For the first time in the history of 'Opera At Jimbour', Jimbour House will open its doors to the famed estate, debuting a new format with performances taking place both inside and outside in the grounds. Attendees can expect to hear the sounds of Mozart, Rossini, Handel and Luigi Denza brought to life in the gardens and within the walls.
Musicians from Opera Queensland and Ensemble Q will feature throughout the event, including violinist Natsuko Yoshimoto, cellist Trish Dean and clarinetist Paul Dean, who will be joined by an orchestra of chamber musicians from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, led by Dane Lam.

Also playing is bass Jud Arthur, baritone Jose Carbo, soprano Rebecca Cassidy, tenor Bradley Daley, soprano Eva Kong, tenor Rosario La Spina and mezzo-soprano Hayley Sugars, along with MC Jason Barry-Smith and pianist John Woods.
'Opera At Jimbour' includes two gala events, a Hangar Concert, a recital inside the Drawing Room and tour through the halls of the homestead.
