The historic seaside town of Queenscliff in Victoria will come alive for three unforgettable days of music, community, and coastal charm this November – for Queenscliff Music Festival.
The 2025 event will showcase a bumper line-up of Aussie legends and new discoveries, plus a splash of international talent – offering a stellar array of rock, indie, folk, hip hop, blues, country and more.
“Queenscliff Music Festival is more than just a music event — it's a full sensory experience," Festival Director Claire Stickland says. "With an unbeatable coastal setting, diverse line-up, and welcoming vibe for all ages, it’s the perfect escape for music lovers and experience seekers.”
The festival attracts more than 10,000 music lovers annually. . . The ideal weekend getaway for music lovers of all tastes and works of life. The musical goodness is set against a stunning backdrop of sandy beaches, pristine waters, cliff walks and historic piers of the Queenscliff Foreshore.
In 2025, punters can expect to hear tunes from the likes of The Cat Empire, beloved Gamilaraay singer-songwriter Thelma Plum, US surf rocker Donavon Frankenreiter, the return of WA alt-rocker outfit Little Birdy, genre-defying collective Sex On Toast, and powerhouse vocalist Fenn Wilson & The Weather.
Plus, there’s The Preatures, returning after first making their mark in the early 2010s. . . Tex Perkins and Matt Walker team up for a soul-soaked show, ARIA-nominated duo Mama Kin Spender bring their fiery mix of percussion, harmony and emotion. . . Alt-pop icon turned American torchbearer Ella Hooper (Killing Heidi) joins the fun. . . As do cherished Aussie band The Badloves.
Rounding out the acts are psychedelic soul groover Velvet Trip, antipodean songwriter Skyscraper Stan & the Commission Flats, blues torchbearers Dom Turner & The Rural Blues Project, Afro-futurist funk collective Cool Out Sun, garage-psych favourites Bones & Jones, indie-folk dream weaver Romanie, rising neo-soul voice Lewis Love, indie-folk storyteller Madeliene Cope, tender-hearted country artist Ruby Mae, the blues and roots collective The Mojo Corner, and beloved family entertainer Peter Combe.
“This year’s line-up is one of our most exciting yet, a powerful mix of iconic names and fresh discoveries that reflect the spirit and diversity of Queenscliff Music Festival,” Claire Stickland adds. “Every year, we’re reminded of the magic that happens when people gather to share music, stories and summer by the sea and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another unforgettable weekend.”
