Three weeks late for Halloween — but just in time to haunt you for the rest of your life — Queens Of The Stone Age have released a creepy video for 'The Vampyre Of Time And Memory'.
Directed by Kii Arens and Jason Trucco and produced by The Creators Project, the clip is available in both a standard version (which they're calling the 'Director's Cut') and an interactive version.
The non-interactive version features its fair share of terrifying imagery, like sinister maids glowering at the camera (spooky!), the band performing in a lair filled with taxidermied animals (rape dungeon-y!), and close-ups of Josh Homme's gnarly fingernails (unhygienic horror!).
The interactive edition features a tour of a haunted house, a flip through the song's lyrics, and an iTunes link to ...Like Clockwork, which may or may not enhance the grim mood of the video, depending on how you feel about iTunes.
You can view the non-interactive clip here, and check out the interactive one at vampyreoftimeandmemory.com.
Keep your eyes locked to your screens once you've seen the clip, because QOTSA will be dropping a three-track live EP, ...Like Cologne, exlusively on Spotify tomorrow.
