Just under a year since their last visit to Australia, iconic rockers Queens Of The Stone Age return down under in August/ September for 7-date national trip as part of their 'Villains' world tour.
Their best work since early 2000s 'Songs For The Deaf'-era QOTSA, the band emerged from the Californian desert last August with their #1 ARIA Album chart-topping seventh album, 'Villains'.
The record features instant classics: 'Head Like A Haunted House', 'The Way You Used To Do' and 'The Evil Has Landed'.
"Everybody who knows me knows that Australia is my home away from home," Josh Homme says.
The band, who will be joined by Australian blues maestro C.W. Stoneking, will play all-ages shows in Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Hobart, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
"We'll come back as many times as you'll have us, just make sure you bring the meat pies and sausage rolls and a solid swell in the water and we'll be there,” QOTSA drummer Jon Theodore told scenestr last August.
