Two of the biggest names in classic rock will be honoured when the West End productions 'Queen By Candlelight' and 'Meat Loaf By Candlelight' make their respective Australian debuts next month.
After a successful sold-out UK tour, Kinda Dusty is bringing both live shows that feature a star-studded cast from London's West End plus a live band to Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth."For everyone that has ever dreamed of being able to see music greats, Queen or Meat Loaf live on stage, these concerts recreate the music in all its glory," says Daniel Wood, a producer at Kinda Dusty.
"You're getting the real concert experience – the big rock band, a stellar line-up of top West End stars, beautiful venues bathed in candlelight, and music that transcends time. Everyone is rocking out, even in the aisles."
'Queen By Candlelight' features over 20 of Queen's greatest hits including 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'We Are The Champions', 'Don't Stop Me Now' and 'I Want To Break Free'.
"The show has sold out at venues across the UK, so we are really excited to be bringing it to an Australian audience on an even bigger scale," Daniel says.
With the stars of the West End and international productions of 'Bat Out Of Hell featuring, 'Meat Loaf By Candlelight' incorporates some of the most recognisable songs of all time: 'Anything For Love', 'Bat Out Of Hell', and 'Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad'.
"After playing the lead role of Strat in 'Bat Out Of Hell' both in London's West End and internationally, I'm so excited to finally be performing Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman's iconic hits to my fellow Aussies," Simon Gordon says.
"Our show always has everyone dancing and singing along, but 'Bat Out Of Hell' is the number one selling album of all time in Australia, so the audience is going to be next level! I can't wait to rock out with them."
