With the meteoric success of the film 'Bohemian Rhapsody', the original members of Queen Brian May and Roger Taylor are teaming up with long-time frontman Adam Lambert for an Australian stadium tour next year.
'The Rhapsody Tour' sees Queen + Adam Lambert reframe the iconic songs of Queen in a brand-new production on a six-date tour in February 2020.
“This is a great opportunity," guitarist Brian May says. "Our last tour featured our most ambitious production ever and got us our best notices ever. So we decided to rip it apart and get even more ambitious! Watch out, Australia! "
Fans' love for Queen remains stronger than ever, with 'Bohemian Rhapsody' becoming the highest-grossing music biopic of all time and propelling the band back into the charts.
Since Adam Lambert first shared the stage with Queen for the 2009 'American Idol' final, his dynamic performances have reinvigorated the band and delighted fans worldwide.
Since then May and Taylor’s musical fireworks have been matched by Lambert’s vocal prowess and stage presence, making for an explosive combination.
Tickets for 'The Rhapsody Tour' go on sale on Monday 15 April 2019 with staggered on-sale times from 10.30am AEST. Click here for tickets and more information.
