It has been revealed that Pusha T was the writer behind McDonald's global 'I'm Lovin' It' advertising campaign in the early 2000s; not Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake, as many in the industry had assumed.
You know the ad; it's catchy hook – "Ba dup ba ba ba - I'm lovin' it!" – was played while a range of people did a range of questionable activities that showcased they were 'lovin' it': breakdancing, office chair races etc. It was the early naughties, children.

The revelation about the GOOD Music president came during an interview that Steve Stoute - a former record industry exec and current CEO of marketing firm Translation - did with Hot 97's Ebro Darden.
Stoute was talking about one of his earlier assignments launching the McDonald's campaign. Back before the fast-food giant was employing talking loaded fries to sell their burgers. Darden trotted out the Pharrell line before Stoute quickly corrected: "No, you know who did that?! Pusha T. That's CRAZY that Pusha T wrote the song to McDonald's 'I'm Lovin' It'."
Watch it here… the revelation is just after the four-minute mark.

Earlier this week Pusha T released 'Drug Dealers Anonymous', a joint that features a verse from Jay Z who spits about conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren's recent rant about Beyonce's half-time Superbowl performance where Tomi labelled Jigga a "drug dealer for 14 years".
