Pulp

Brit-pop, art rock legends Pulp return to Australia in 2026 – their first live shows down under in 13 years.

Led by the irresistible Jarvis Cocker, the band with such iconic bangers like 'Common People', 'Disco 2000', 'Babies' and 'Do You Remember The First Time?' will headline concerts in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney (x2 shows) next February-March.

"You deserve more, so we'll be playing in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney in February and March 2026," the band posted, referencing their newest and eighth studio album 'More' that was released in June and recorded with producer James Ford.

An even longer timelapse than their previous Australian appearances, 'More' is Pulp's first album since 2001's 'We Love Life' and came about after the band made their live return two years ago after an extended break – and features the singles 'Spike Island' and 'Got To Have Love'.

"The day an album is released to the public is a very special day," Jarvis says. "The music changes from being something owned only by the band to something that can be owned by anyone – it can become part of people's lives. It's magic."

As their resurgence ignites old fans and inspires new listeners alike, in September Pulp celebrated the 30th anniversary of their Mercury Prize-winning fifth album 'Different Class' (the one that spawned 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000' as well as 'Sorted For E's & Wizz' and 'Something Changed'), which they've remastered and made available on deluxe 4xLP and 2xCD.

Both new formats include Pulp's legendary, never-before-released Glastonbury 1995 set in full, as well as a 28-page booklet featuring previously unseen images and a newly commissioned essay based on recent interviews with the band.

"This 45rpm double album version of 'Different Class' will make it sound a whole lot better. Now, 30 years later, we are finally ready for 'Different Class' to be heard in all its glory," declared Jarvis.

Tickets on sale from 9am (local time) on 7 November.
