Primus' 90's edgy rock refused to see them pigeonholed; merging alternative, punk, country, roots rock, and experimental music before their cult grew and they fully infiltrated the mainstream. They will be supported in all the majors by The Dean Ween Group.
The band has built a large and loyal global following from their San Francisco base with a string of releases that some now consider classics including 1989's 'Suck on This,' 1990's 'Frizzle Fry,' 1991's 'Sailing the Seas of Cheese,' 1993's 'Pork Soda,' and 1995's 'Tales from the Punchbowl.'
The trio is a Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum selling band and Primus have toured with some of rock's biggest names (Jane's Addiction, Public Enemy, Rush and U2). They headlined the third Lollapalooza Festival and issued a variety of unique music videos.
Fun fact: Primus recorded the original theme song for the TV show, South Park.
