Premiere: Watch Zennith's New Video Clip 'I Like It'

Zennith's new single is titled 'I Like It' and features Jamaican singer Jesse Royal.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

In October, Australian Aboriginal roots-reggae rockers Zennith will release their new album, 'Ancient Warrior'.

Today, they share the first taste of that recording with the release of 'I Like It (feat. Jesse Royal)'. The track originally appeared on Zennith's first EP in 2007; this version has been given a 'chilled-out Jamaican makeover' and features the vocals of Jamaican reggae singer Jesse Royal and his versatile 'singjay' vocals.

The upbeat reggae-infused hip hop jam is a bright, sparkly offering of feel-good vibes that's sure to draw you towards the dance floor. Think The Cat Empire crossed with Mista Savona.

Recorded at Tuff Gong Studios in Jamaica (where Zennith recorded the other songs that will feature on 'Ancient Warrior'), scenestr is stoked to premiere the video clip for 'I Like It'. Enjoy.

The video was shot in Kingston, Jamaica and Australia by CR38OR, El Puru and Stephen Maxwell, and features dancer Nahnni Ruutz. The band will also reveal tour dates soon.
