Premiere: Watch Versace Boys' New Music Video 'Lit'

Versace Boys are an electronic music duo based in Northern Rivers.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The wacky, good-natured Northern Rivers party starters Versace Boys' newest banger is 'Lit'. . . like literally.

Playful, warped electro house that's delectably delicious and horny AF, 'Lit' steam-rolls the senses with a bouncy, pounding beat infused with bedroom naughtiness that'll instantly transport you to the club, cutting shapes like Britney knife dancing.

As the legend Alex told the lads on their Instagram, someone call KFC 'cause 'Lit' is a zinger!

"'Lit' is the track you didn't think you needed, a red-hot summer banger made for melting minds in big clubs," Versace Boys says. "The track is massively influenced by Cobrah and living and making music in the Berlin club scene for the last ten years.

"It was originally free-styled at a farmers market in Mullumbimby and honed into a huge hit after some psychedelics on day five of a writing session with producer Miggy."

Released last week, today scenestr is stoked to premiere the 'Lit' music video which features the lads letting loose with the coolest grandma in town alongside a talking dog. Bliss!

Influenced by the likes of Smino, Remi Wolf, Anderson .Pakk, Marc Rebillet and Still Woozy, Versace Boys have two complete albums written and mixed with plans to take over 2024.

"We shot [the 'Lit' film clip] in the Sunshine Coast at Goliath Productions Studios with the help of our art directors HOTMESS. The theme was trashthetique and we were inspired by dirty '90s pop girl film clips eg. our main crush Christina Aguilera.

"Will was clinically blind for half an hour due to some extreme contact lenses, sparklers accidentally lit up a special rug, and it's true what they say about working with dogs."

You can catch Versace Boys live at Brunswick Hotel (Northern Rivers) 30 December, Party In The Paddock (Tasmania) 10 February, Esoteric Festival (Victoria) 8 March and Rabbits Eat Lettuce (Queensland) 28 March.
